Buenos Aires – 2005 -Beneteau First 36.7

She was purchase in 2018 in San Francisco.  We brought her down down the coast to Long Beach. Which was an adventure for me.  My longest trip on a sailboat. She was named Mustique after an island in the Caribbean.  I always want to name a boat after my favorite city in South America.  So her name was changed to  Buenos Aires, based on my wife’s home country of Argentina and the beautiful port city of Buenos Aires.  One of the key factors in sailboat racing is finding good air and thus the name Buenos Aires.  She a great versatile boat that you can race  or go cruising.  She is fast upwind and  needs a little help downwind.

If you are lucky,  when you race on BA you might be treated to  Argentine Empanadas or Milanese sandwiches.  

We are in the process of building a winning team.  All based on the foundation of great crew work and winning attitude.
